VALERIE DELANY
Co. Louth Officiant Graduated | Since June 2024
Hi, my name is Val and I’m going to tell you a little bit about me.
I have 16 year’s work experience in the Civil Registration Department of the HSE. Throughout those years I would’ve helped guide couples through the whole legal paperwork process when registering their notice of intent to marry. I also would have been fortunate enough to conduct their civil ceremony. It was my honour to be part of the couple’s special day. So, my love for this particular aspect of the job made me embark on my journey to become a FuturFaith Minister. I’ve taken my skills for passion and connection and turned it into something personal with ‘Ceremonies by Val’.
My background in the Civil Registration Department of the HSE and also 26 years running a family pub speaks volumes about my experience working with people and helping them through important milestones in their lives. I love now that I have the freedom to work alongside couples on a much more personal level, to create and design a beautiful, bespoke, meaningful, memorable ceremony for you.
FuturFaith whom I have trained with have an inclusive approach to all faiths, mixed faith, semi faith and/or no faith and this is also what I’m passionate about. Your ceremony, your way and I am here to guide you on your journey to craft the most beautiful ceremony, offer you enhancements to make your ceremony individual to you and your values. It will be the most magnificent start to your day of celebrating, a ceremony that your guests will be talking fondly about.
I’m thrilled to be recognised as a legally registered solemniser able to conduct marriages in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. So, whether you’re looking for a celebrant for a wedding, an elopement, vow renewals, a funeral or a beautiful baby naming ceremony, please feelfree to reach out. Val x
